Plymouth Albion Therapy and Rehab Clinic

Plymouth Albion is excited to announce our latest venture. We have opened a “Plymouth Albion Therapy and Rehab” led by our Head Sports Therapist Mark Mears.

This service will be available from the 1st of October and will be open to all people. We have started this clinic for two main reasons. The first was to ensure we are maximising our facilities for the public, providing a service to improve the wellbeing to members of the community; secondly to help keep our club afloat with no return to rugby insight.

If you are limited with your ability to move and perform functional activities in daily life then we can HELP!
Book an appointment by contacting our Head of Sports Therapy Mark Mears at or 07711519390

Just wanted to message to say thank you to Paddy.
I had a running injury in my calf area, Paddy identified the issue and with a few SMT sessions and some taping for support, I am now on the road to recovery and back running again. Would definitely recommend. Thank you 🙌🏼

Recently been to see Pat with a lower back issue that’s been troubling me for some time. After a couple of hours of treatment, I’ve been virtually pain-free. Could not recommend Pat enough. Thank you

Been seeing pat for a bit now really knowledgeable and friendly! Has helped with my back problems and also done full rehab on my torn hamstring. Couldn’t recommend him enough and won’t be going anywhere else anytime soon!

Hi guys, saw Paddy a couple of weeks back. What a fantastic guy and session it was. Made me feel at ease the whole time and gave me a load of stretches that have really helped reduce pain and help with mobility. Will deffo comeback and book it with Paddy again, the guy is a genius with his hands 💪👌

Cant recommend Pat enough, carrying firearms and wearing body armour all day has started taking a toll on my back, neck and shoulders, but looking forward continuing my maintenance package with Pat, a very professional and approachable bloke!

I came and visited Pat Barker at Plymouth Albion for a physio appointment, I have ongoing back pain and nerve problems and Pat worked his magic to relieve the issue, I walked out a new man, I can’t thank him enough, he was very professional and extremely COVID safe taking all precautions I would recommend to anyone with one going aches and pains

I had a good session with Ben on Tuesday. A short appreciation attached. “I had a physio appointment with Ben – Albion therapy and rehab – on Tuesday 10th November 2020 at Plymouth Albion, Brickfields. The reason for the appointment was a minor problem with my back and continuing problems with my shoulders particularly the left one. Ben worked hard for an hour: I was very pleased with his approach, his effort and the improvements to my shoulders. He also gave me “homework” i.e. exercises” for my shoulders. I was very pleased with the session and will be seeing Ben again in 4 weeks to continue the improvement to my shoulders. I can recommend Albion therapy and rehab for your physio requirements: ask for Ben!”
– Peter

Fantastic relaxed but professional atmosphere. Had an hour-long massage done by Lauren and she was excellent – very quick to identify/locate trigger points etc. (I have a variety of issues with my lower back and shoulder/neck).
Able to give a really deep tissue massage, but communicated brilliantly to make sure pressure used was appropriate for me personally. Would recommend Lauren and team to anyone looking for a sports massage or just a really effective general maintenance massage. Have paid more elsewhere and got far less value for money. Highly recommended Plymouth Albion Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation and will be a repeat client.
