Position 2nd Chef/ Sous Chef
Plymouth Albion Rugby Club is looking for an experienced part time2nd Chef/ Sous Chef to join our fun and friendly team.
We cater for all types of functions including weddings, conferences, week day luncheons and of course rugby match days. Every day is different and there is nothing we won’t cater so flexibility is key to this role. Our menus vary from day to day depending on our customers requirements.
Reporting to The Head Chef you will be assisting in prep work & cooking function menus. You will be required to cover holidays for the Head Chef and other kitchen team members. You will be expected to comply with health and safety standards set and also assist with weekly cleaning. The hours of work at 25 per week on a rota basis. Also offered with this role is 20 days paid holiday per year, discounted staff meals & training.
- NVQ Level 3 in Catering
- The ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in producing high volumes of food with an eye for presentation
- Complete flexibility regarding shift patterns
