Plymouth Albion are at home this Saturday, May 12, for their re-arranged fixture against Loughborough Students (KO 3pm).
Originally scheduled for January 20, the game was called off at the eleventh hour after the visitors deemed the pitch unplayable.
A subsequent re-arranged match-up was postoned in March due to Albion’s waterlogged pitch.
Saturday’s game is the last one in Plymouth Albion’s season and the final fixture in the National League One calendar.
With Plymouth Albion currently fourth in the league and Loughborough Students three points clear of the drop zone in 13th, speculation in the press suggests the Leicestershire team would rather not travel to fulfil the fixture as it has no bearing on promotion or relegation.
Despite this, head coach Kieran Hallett remains focused on the task ahead. Speaking last week, he said: “We are just preparing as if the game is going ahead and that’s all we can do. We are looking forward to pushing on and finishing third.”
