Plymouth Albion have confirmed that Dan Powell (Pictured Below) signed his new contract this week after returning from Australia, and they have also signed Kieran Westlake (No. 18 Pictured Above) from Camborne. Dan has been travelling in Australia with team mate Dan Swain, but decided whilst playing for Southern Lions in Perth that he wanted to commit to Plymouth again this season. Dan Mugford Returns Home to Albion

At the end of last season, Plymouth Albion prepared to say “au revoir” to fly half Dan Mugford who had decided to head for France, with the opportunity to play for a Rugby Pro D2 team. Dan was hit by injury towards the end of the 2017-18 season and was looking at moving on to a new challenge with the French side, despite not speaking the language. We are pleased to announce that Dan Williams will take over the defence and forwards coaching duties from Julian Salvi who has retired from playing and moved to Exeter Chiefs as their defence coach. Australian winger Teegan Minkley joins Plymouth Albion. We are delighted to announce that young Australian, Teegan Minkley will be joining Plymouth Albion to play next season. Minkley, who’s just 21, was born in South Africa before moving to Australia when he was 12 years old. Plymouth born Squire to stay at Plymouth Albion Plymouth Albion have confirmed that local boy Dean Squire has signed his contract to stay at the club next season. Centre Dean, 22, started playing rugby at around six years old as his mum, who is Welsh, and her family were all into it. Plymouth Albion triumph over Exeter University RFC in their second preseason game… Plymouth Albion went in to the preseason game against Exeter University as favourites, but the visitors put up a great fight and displayed some good work rates throughout the game.
