Rest in Peace Howell Phillips

6th October 2020 | Category: General, Latest News

Plymouth Albion is saddened to hear of the passing of Howell Phillips on 1st October 2020.

Howell started his career at Plymouth Albion in the 1994/95 season coaching the Under 15s and continued to support the youth system as Joint Youth Co-Ordinator until the Albion Youth department relocated to Devonport services circa 2000. He taught many players who went on to have great success in Rugby, Luke and Tom Arscott, Jack Arnott, Chris Lowrie to name but a few.

A formidable man, Howell was an integral part of the Plymouth Rugby Community and will be hugely missed.

Our thoughts are with Gillian, Rhys, Bethan and all the Philips family at this time.

Rest in Peace Howell
