MOVEMBER

18th November 2020 | Category: General
Now more than ever it is important to support those around us. Winger Josh Skelcey very kindly share with us why he is raising awareness through Movember:

“I have been doing Movember UK now for 6 years. It’s a really great charity which is trying to change the face of men’s mental and physical health.

I personally do Movember each year to raise awareness. I want men to be comfortable sharing their problems and talking to people. A lot of men feel it’s not macho’ to share problems but we are trying to change that stigma.

I myself have struggled with mental health issues and if I had reached out for help sooner, I could have avoided a lot of the problems I had.

It’s okay to talk, it’s okay to seek help, it’s okay to not be okay!”
