Unfortunately, it is not to be as the dark cloud of the pandemic continues to cast a shadow on rugby below elite level. It has been challenging for the nation’s vast majority of rugby clubs to maintain focus, enthusiasm and training. For over a year now club players, officials and fans have been...

New Head of Strength and Conditioning

Plymouth Albion is thrilled to introduce the newest member of our staff. Pete Howe is our new Head of Strength and Conditioning! We can’t for him to start to get to work with our squad. Mr Howe kindly answered a few questions so our supporters could get to know our latest addition a little better: ‘I grew up on the outskirts of Manchester and when I look back now, I...

Update fifteen from MD Max Venables

A belated happy new year and welcome to the third season of my lockdown musings! I do not think many of us would have thought that nearly a year later we would still be waiting to see an Albion team take the field but that is where we find ourselves. I certainly felt it prudent to restart these missives to keep you all up to date. I would like to commence with a big thank you; to you, our loyal supporters for sticking by the club. We are living in unprecedented times and we are grateful for the unequivocal message...
