GIRLS RUGBY AT STOKE DAMAREL COMMUNITY COLLEGE If you have always fancied getting in to Girls Rugby, the perfect opportunity has arisen for you to get the best possible start! The combined expertise of Plymouth Albion, Devonport Services RFC, Active Devon & Stoke Damerel Community College, will be running girls rugby training sessions every Monday between 15:30 to 16:30 The sessions are open to all girls between the ages of 12-18. Academy Fixture – Wednesday 20th February 2019 at 7.30pm, Brickfields. We are pleased to announce our first Plymouth Albion U18’s Academy fixture. The academy will be playing at home, at The Brickfields, against Cornwall U17’s on Wednesday 20th February 2019. It’s back….Plymouth Albion are hosting a development team fixture against Ivybridge RFC on the 3rd December. The team will consist of a mixture of players involved with Plymouth Albion from the first XV to Marjon Academy and Chiefs dual registered players. It is sure to be an exciting evening of rugby. Former Plymouth Albion lock Mike Lewis has returned to the club where he spent eight years as a player to push the community team forward as Albion eye up promotion this season. Knee injury forced Mike to retire from rugby when he was 24 and he moved into rugby coaching, spending the past five years in the RFU’s community department in West Devon.
