Albion’s New Coach

Plymouth Albion's new team coach at Brickfields Recreation Ground during the National Division One match, between Plymouth Albion and Hull Ionians at the Brickfields Recreation Ground, on March 4th 2017, Plymouth, Devon, UK.

Albion have got a new coach.

This one’s not a member of the coaching staff, though. It has wheels, windows and seats inside and made its first appearance to take Albion’s team to Loughborough two weeks ago.

Supporters may also have seen the coach at Brickfields for the Hull game. The coach is hugely impressive and has previously been used by England’s football team.

Albion’s actual coach, Kieran Hallett is very happy with the club’s investment.

“We spend a lot of money on travel,” said Kieran. “So it made sense to get our own bus. It’s a great thing to have. I don’t think there are any teams in National One who have their own bus. I don’t think there is many in the Championship either; it’s a big step to get our own.”

Kieran’s side will travel on Albion’s new luxurious coach four more times this season, with a trip to Birmingham Moseley next weekend and then journeys to Macclesfield, Blackheath and Cambridge also on the horizon for Albion.
