Albion trio called up for England Counties

Kieron Hallett of Plymouth Albion runs with ball during the match, between Plymouth Albion and Coventry at the Brickfields Recreation Ground, on February 11th 2017 in Plymouth, UK.

Albion have had three players called up to England Counties for their game against Scotland Club XV next Friday.

Daniel Pullinger, Nile Dacres and player/coach Kieran Hallett have all been selected to represent England Counties, who play Scotland at 7:45pm on Friday 24 February at Birmingham Moseley RFC.

Daniel and Nile have recently celebrated 50 games for Albion, whilst Kieran Hallett has been player/coach since December.

All three will travel to Loughborough on Saturday 17 February but have no game the following week, so are all available for England Counties on the Friday.

It is the first game of England Counties season. The team will go on to play Ireland Club XV in Cork on Friday 17 March, followed by a three-match tour in June.

In 2016, England Counties played five times winning four times and losing only to Scotland 57-27. Therefore, Dan, Nile and Kieran will be focused on changing England’s fate with┬áthe help of nine of that squad that played last time being re-selected.
