Albion flanker Sam Daly signs new contract

Albion

Sam Daly has signed a contract with Albion until the end of 2017/18.

Sam is a local Devon lad, who has been involved in Albion’s last two games against Fylde and Darlington Mowden Park and has impressed coach Kieran Hallett enough to extend his stay at Brickfields until the end of 2017/18.

The talented young flanker made an appearance from the bench against Fylde at Brickfields and then started for Albion against Darlington Mowden Park at The Northern Echo Arena last Saturday.

Sam joined Albion on loan from National Three South West Newton Abbot on a short-term deal, but the opportunity to remain at Brickfields until the end of the season proved too good to turn down for the Exeter Chiefs apprentice.

Sam isn’t Kieran’s only recent addition to his squad, with Exeter Chiefs Academy player Harvey Skinner joining Albion until the end of the season also. Both Sam and Harvey are on the bench for Saturday’s home fixture against Coventry.
