A physical battle by both Albion and Jersey on Saturday saw the islanders win 15-19 despite Albion’s late effort.
Jersey, who beat Albion16-14 at St Peter in November, sat second from bottom with 20 points to their name.
Nat Saumi opted for experience in Fisilau, who is now in his 12th season at Albion, and Declan Cusack coming into the backs for Lewis Warner and Tom Bowen.
Rhodri McAtee and Toby Howley-Berridge move to the wings and prop Jack Andrew moved into the front row for David Morton.
Albion having scored 14 tries in their last four games have conceded four tries in each one of those matches were looking to take some momentum into the game against Jersey.
Two early second-half tries from Jerseys scrum-half Nicky-Griffiths helped them beat Plymouth and secured first ever away win in the Championship.
Albion’s 10Paul Robert’s penalty had put Albion in front early on before Guy Thompson crossed over for Jersey.
Jersey took advantage after Bevon Armitage had been sin-binned after half an hour mark for a professional foul on their try line.
Hooker Jon Vickers and prop Jack Andrews had to be taken off before the first half because of injuries. Both are recovering well and will be receiving some TLC from our experienced medical care in the next few days.
Jerseys Griffiths then went over twice in the space of six minutes after the restart to put the islanders 19-3 up in the second period.
Jersey prop Jon Brennan was carried off on a stretcher with a neck injury and taken to Derriford. Dave Felton also joined Brennan at Derriford hospital after leaving the field on a stretcher with a back injury. From all at Albion we wish both a speedy recovery for the near future.
Tom Cowan-Dickie managed to cross the line in the 68th minute after Albion had took a quick tap penalty from inside their own half. Then Bowen went over 11 minutes later, after McAtee managed to squeeze his way through a small gap in the Jersey defence.
Jersey are now five points clear of bottom side Doncaster, who secured a bonus point in their 25-19 defeat by Rotherham.
Albion are now 12 points ahead of Doncaster who are also played 18 games this season.
Albion now has a week off before a trip to London Scottish on March 23.
